About the Author
Milan Radosavljevic, Lecturer in the University of Reading's School of Construction Management and Engineering following several years as a Demonstration Projects Coordinator for Scotland and as a Production Director within an off-site construction company in Central Europe. He is Director of the prestigious Reading MSc in Project Management and his interests are focused on the role of Building Information Modelling in production management within the Total Construction Service strategy.

John Bennett, Professor in the University of Reading's Department of Construction Management & Engineering for 25 years following 20 years of successful practice in the UK and internationally, founding editor of the leading journal, Construction Management and Economics, and Director of the University's Centre for Strategic Studies in Construction throughout its 12 years of influential research and publishing. About the Author

Jim Taylor, PhD, is a highly sought-after speaker and author in sport psychology. Dr. Taylor has 20 years of applied sport psychology experience in academic settings and in private consulting practice. The author of eight books and numerous publications in refereed journals, Dr. Taylor is a former world-ranked alpine ski racer, certified tennis coach, second-degree black belt in karate, marathon runner, and Ironman triathlete. He is an elected fellow and certified consultant for the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology, and he has consulted extensively with world-class and professional athletes.

Gregory S. Wilson, PED, is an associate professor and chair of the department of human kinetics and sport studies at the University of Evansville in Indiana. He has coauthored six chapters for a variety of edited textbooks and has published numerous papers dealing with such topics as overtraining and staleness and the effects of precompetition anxiety on sport performance. A former track coach, he has coached an NCAA hurdles champion and a member of the U.S. Olympic and Pan American teams. Dr. Wilson is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Psychological Association.

Unique book that you literally can't find. Ogden takes you through the basics of neuropsychology...the terms, concepts and the basics of clinical practice. Then she dives in with stories of patients she worked with in her practice. Great book for anyone interested in the brain, Oliver Sachs kinds of books and definitely for any undergrad in psychology that wants to know if this is a subfield of psychology they would enjoy. This was especially fascinating to me as someone who administers neuropsychological testing to patients.

Dr. Ogden brings to life the case study approach. She writes well, clear and is informative. She gives us basic definitions in neurology and spells them out clearly; the difference between alexia and dyslexia, for example. She focuses on the machinery at the neurologists disposal and the testing battery of the neuropsychologist. She tells how each person tends to be one minute normal, the next, no so. She follows closely how something like neurotoxicity develops, a people cope with neurological illness and follows them in treatment. The book is full of learning material. I highly recommend it to the practicing psychologist or neuropsychologist, or someone curious about how the brain functions.

I needed this book for my Behavioral Neuroscience class and it was really interesting to learn about real life experiences with certain diseases and how their lives are afterwards! So much more interesting than just reading about a disease and what it is.

First chapter is very good reading, I am looking forward to the rest.

As a person who has suffered a brain injury, this book was able to help me better understand what had happened.It is written with a clinical, academic tone which I find hard to absorb.

This book is great if you want to learn about neuropsychology from a clinical point of view. Very interesting to read, just enough terminology and detail where it's helpful, but not boring. Highly recommended.

This book was required for a class, but I found the case studies to be pretty engaging.
